The Challenge
aida had a vision for a B2B store accompanied by a streamlined sales solution, aiming to simplify the process of product ordering for their distributors and enhance the efficiency of their sales team's interactions with these distributors.
aida's goal was to establish a digital customer platform, granting distributors access to features such as product reordering, saved favorites lists, and order history.
Given that aida operates with customized pricing for individual customers, the integration with AX held significant importance, serving as the primary source for retailer and product data retrieval.
The Solution
In close collaboration with aida's sales and marketing department, the design and information architecture was shaped so that the solution was usable on all platforms.
aida's salespeople now bring iPads to the retailers, so it was important that the solution was optimized for the different iPad screens. The sales reps needed a login so that they could "take over" the retailer's login and help order goods home if necessary. Both solutions are based on Dynamicweb ecommerce with close integration to Dynamics AX via a standard module.
