B2B Commerce

B2B Commerce

B2B buyers expect the same seamless digital experiences as in B2C - but with the added complexity of multiple accounts, custom pricing, multiple projects with different delivery addresses, separate carts, and payment requirements. Our goal is to make these processes simple and efficient for both customers and sales teams. We approach this on two fronts to succeed:

Invoice Management
A portal where customers can view, select, and pay multiple invoices at once. This saves time, reduces complexity, and delivers a smoother payment experience without expensive custom solutions, designed to accommodate regional requirements such as those often seen in North America.

Customer & Sales Center
Self-service access for customers to orders, invoices, account data, quotes, and multiple projects, combined with sales tools to support every step - from draft to quote to finalized order - including aftersales needs like product information and documentation.

Integration

Integration to Microsoft Dynamics 365

Connecting DynamicWeb with Dynamics 365 has often been complex and costly. We are changing that with a phased approach: starting with PIM integration and then extending to commerce. This makes projects faster, reduces complexity, and creates a clear path forward.

Our new Business Central app:

  • Phase 1: PIM inside Business Central – Consultants can manage product data and sync items directly in BC, cutting setup time and making adoption easier.
  • Phase 2: Commerce integration – Adds modern OData-based commerce features, replacing legacy tech and giving partners and customers a simpler, more reliable foundation.

PIM

Strengthening PIM for the future

Daily PIM users should be able to handle routine tasks with ease. We focus on the most common processes and improve them to save time and reduce effort. We also aim to make the transition to DynamicWeb10 simpler and more valuable, making upgrades easier and more rewarding while unlocking the benefits of the newest version.

Key improvements in progress:

  • Smarter completeness rules
  • Flexible unit conversions
  • Easier variant handling

These improvements help editors save time, reduce errors, and work with confidence.

AI

Improve processes and tasks by utilizing AI

We are confident that AI can improve and simplify users’ daily work in DynamicWeb by reducing repetitive tasks. We are exploring how AI can help with things like mapping data between systems, spotting unusual orders, and suggesting how products should be grouped or described - even filling in missing details automatically.

The goal is to save time, reduce errors, and improve data quality, giving partners and users more time to focus on creating value. At the same time, this work lays the foundation for broader use of AI across the platform in the future.
